Who we are and what we do:
Anderson Commodities, Inc. was formed in 2000 for the purpose of marketing agricultural finished products through out the world. Our focus has become NON GMO Food Grade Soybeans. However, we also market sunflower products, dry beans and other ag products. Ron Anderson is the company President and business manager.
Brief History:
Ron Anderson began in the seed business in 1975 when he started growing certified seed at Monticello, MN. In 1980 the seed business was expanded by moving to Mentor, MN. In 1981 a seed conditioning plant was built. In 1984 this plant began custom seed cleaning for the St. Hilaire Co-op Elevator. In 1992 it was decided to build a new seed conditioning plant at St. Hilaire due to tremendous growth. In 1995 it was decided to diversify, and the plant was modified to handle dry beans and soybeans.
In 1992 the original seed conditioning plant at Mentor, MN was converted to a sunflower cleaning plant. In 1999 the corporation Anderson Seed Company was formed, and after construction we began sourcing raw product , cleaning, sizing, dehulling, bagging, and marketing sunflower kernels and bird food.
In 2000 Anderson Commodities, Inc. was formed and began marketing agricultural finished products. Since that time we’ve been bringing together suppliers with consumers worldwide to enable a smooth flow of product from the field to the market.
